Rest in peace, Bud. Guitars he designed or helped develop will be played for many, many years. Condolences to his family. _________________ Magnum D10, Emmons D10 push-pull |

A sad day. I last had a conversation with Bud the day he was inducted into the hall of fame in St Louis. |

I can say with 100% honesty, that after 38 years of playing and a couple dozen steels in that time, the MSA's that bore Bud Carters penciled signature on a frame tag
"Inspected and certified correct by Bud Carter", or the Carter steels that carried his nameplate were THE best steel guitars I ever owned... Many many years on MSA and then Carter guitars and Bud's "fingerprints" were all over them.. He was a VERY nice man, and a wonderful innovator on our instrument... May he rest in peace... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
