Hi all...

I am Roger Hinton. My Dad was known here as Andy Hinton... I think... He was selling coated finger picks for quite a while before he became too sick to continue. He passed away quietly at home July 3, 2011.
I have been going through what is left of the many steels he has acquired over the years as well as many accessories and other related parts and pieces. I am going to be selling a lot of it and I thought I might ask your help to get a proper but fair price. I know very little about steel guitars or pedal steels. I would like to see this stuff being used for what it made for rather than sitting around gathering dust. I know Dad had some nice new stuff that he never used.
The biggest item that I know of is a early 1996 Carter S-10 with 5 levers and 4 pedals. I have no idea about the tuning or set-up, but it is in like new condition. It is in a 25th anniversary Thomas Custom case. The case has 1 broken latch, but it should be easy enough to fix.

I look forward to your replies...

Roger

Hello Roger;
Your Dad was well known here on the Steel Forum.
We are sorry for your loss.

I think if you could post some pictures of everything here it would help to determine a fair price
of the gear.
Several pictures of the steel would be best for it - front, rear, top, each end & underside pixs for the steel.
A couple pixs of each of the other items would help also.
I hope this helps.
Ron

I plan to try to take pics of everything I have pulled out so far this weekend. I guess I should post in the items for sale sections by what each thing is. Pedal Steels in one section and accessories is another... I also have a lot of emails to answer...

Thanks
