Behringer Modeling Compressor, Com 800 , 16 presets, very useful for those of us who really do not know much about compressors. A couple of settings ( #12 and #13) are very useful for home recording of tracks, tames peaks very well and clean. Also has a couple of very useful vocal patches.

Finally upgraded to a stereo compressor/limiter where I have to turn all the knobs. This Comm 800 has 16 presets, input level, output level and LED displays. Very easy to use and will make a big difference in your tracks for taming peaks.

And sure, some will say never add a compressor ahead of a track for recording, well that's a 50/50 call. If you can tame peaks without any noticeable color then why not ? This little baby has been on the front end of my Pro Tools for two years, I have used it on every track I have done in the last two years.
