Add2 is the "same" as Add9.

Add2 is just above the root and Add9 is an octave above, but it's the same tone.

Aadd2 contains the notes A B C# E, where B is the 2.

On fret 5 you have the B on string 1 and 7 (no pedals)

Code:
        1 2  3  5
Aadd2 - A B  C# E          Fret 5
Badd2 - B C# D# F#         Fret 7
Eadd2 - E F# G# B          Fret 0 or 12


Using the pedals there are all over the fretboard Very Happy
