Anyone know where to find hex nylon tuners on the end of the rods? Also, what the heck do you call those things?!

I thought "tuning nuts" were the people that argue for days "440 vs. 442" and "JI vs. ET."

I had inquired about the availability of tuning nuts from George L's back in October 2013 and got an e-mail back from Sandy that said they were no longer carrying steel guitar accessories...does anyone have an update on this? Thanks...

Basically all stores catering to the steel guitar community will carry these. Try
Jim Palenscar of Steel Guitars of North County at www.steelguitars.me or
Bobbe Seymour's Steel Guitar Nashville at www.steelguitar.net (I think)
Tom Bradshaw at www.songwriter.com/bradshaw (I think)
Or Billy Cooper's in Orange Va at www.billycooperssteelguitar.com
Or Frenchy's in Belen NM at www.frenchyspedalsteel.com

Yea I think Jeff and Gloria at ShowPro have taken over all the George L steel guitar accessory stuff -- check with them.
