I have made so many friends and learned so much from all y'all at the Phoenix show. Well I must miss another show and I will truly "Miss" going. Hopefully I will reappear next year. Two reasons I cannot attend.
1- Beth and I are going to get married this year and I am saving every penny.
2- I am working with 2 bands more than i ever have in my life. I can't break the gig schedule.
Too much work and gotta "make hay while the sun shines." Saturday night I am playing at an Awards Ceremony in northern NM for an original song that one of the band members (Melvin Montano drummer) wrote.
Anyway I truly will miss the great friends and great steel guitar music that we all love so much. Hey Chuck, play "Night Life" and think of me. Billy, Joe, Denny and all the others I hope to see you next year. |
