Wish I could figure out where I could come up with the cash, this is the sound I want. Does this still have the cloth wiring? Happy holidays

Yes, it looks like it has the net(cloth) like wiring from the reverb to the head.

If only I hadn't bought a new Williams S-U12, and and used jeep grand Cherokee I could afford this, maybe Santa will be good to my bank account. I'll save your number in case I can come up with the cash, this amp would sound kick with my '74 SD-U12 Emmons Fatback and my '94 S-U12 Franklin. I'm looking for that old west coast sound. Anyway thanks for chatting. Letz

i think he is referring to the internal wiring. i dont know what year they went to the heavy plastic coated stuff in twins....probably late 68. some of the smaller amps transitioned later.

No I'm told the first two or three years of the silver face had the cloth wiring and this is 1 way to tell if it has the same components as the black faces. Letz

The late '67 and earlier '68 Twins were still AB763 circuits with cloth wire. Mid to late '69 started the "skinny wire" Twin model AA769. This changed again in '70 with a larger gage vinyl covered wire. 1970 was a very good year for the Twin.
