Thanks Doug - I don't normally watch that show but will do so tonight! (that's 11:30PM for us Eastern time zone folks)

Well, I watched, and thoroughly enjoyed Vince and Paul. Even their great performance could not save the show for me. They had some blonde actress who babbled semi-coherently and giggled constantly, and told all about her husband urinating in a hotel ice bucket. I don't believe in hitting a woman but if I found myself married to her I might be tempted to change my mind! (End of rant)

Anyway, some nice playing and my thanks for the heads-up on the program. Next time I'll wait and tune in 5 minutes before the end!

I tuned in right as Jay was introducing them. Looked like Paul was playing thru a Fender Twin w/mast. vol. I thought they sounded great, and Paul's pickin' was Superb. Wonder if he missed his Little Walter? I'm thinkin' I liked the sound of that Twin better, but that's maybe just my tin ear. Like we always say, Paul would sound good playin' thru a Montgomery Ward amp with a torn speaker, or any amp of his choosing.

I watched it, thought it was great. Even though Vince was the "headliner", he let Paul steel the show and play through the whole tune. Paul had a really full sound out of the Fender Twin, even from my tv speakers.

For those that missed it is available on Vince Gill's site. Scroll in to about 35:10 for the performance.
