| I will be in Austin Wed 1/15 thru Sun 1/19. I have a lot of music already planned but I allways am looking for more. If anybody knows of any music that I need to catch in this timeframe please let me know. Thanks and I hope to see you in Austin!!! Joe |

| Hey Roger thanks for the reply. We might be there to catch your last set. We already have plans to see Dale Watson that night. He starts at 8:00 so if we can get to the Spoke to catch you it will be late. Again thanks for the reply and I hope to get to meet and hear you. |

I'm playing
15th 9:00 at Hotel Vegas: The Young Mothers ( very wild avant rock/jazz/noise band)
17th 9:00 country band at the Buzzmill
18th 10:00 great country band at White Horse
19th 8:00 The Legendary White Swan. My band W.H.O. Which is my attempt at playing instrumental music that people might like.
I would go to the Spoke and see Rodger play if I didn't have a gig. He is amazing.
Plus you gotta see Dale Watson or Heybale.
The bands at Ginny's, Broken Spoke, White Horse usually have a steel player.

Johnny Cox is usually with Heybale on sundays.
Another place to keep an eye on is the Rattle Inn. Sundays has Lucas Hudgens playing with Dave Biller or Nate Fleming on steel.
Amanda Cevallos uses steel players.

Braken Hale has James Shelton playing steel usually.

| I just got back from Austin. Yes, Johnny Cox with Haybale at the Continental on Sunday nights and Mondays at the Continental is Dale Watson, whose steel player Don Powak is a sight to behold. |

Lot's of great music with steel in Austin. Thursday I'm @ Broken Spoke with Tony Harrison 6-8. Sunday @ The Continental Club with Heybale, 10:15pm-1:30am. Billy Mata with Roger Edgington is a must see on Friday night.
