to answer a few questions, pick ups are original "MSA SuperSustain" pick ups, and they do sound great, and set up is standard Emmons set up with E's on the left knee...

I love those MSA undercarriages! Everything looks so neat and ran perfectly straight! _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 , Lil Izzy Buffer, Goodrich 120 volume pedal, Boss DD-7, Peterson Strobo flip, Peavey Nashville 112 |

Now that's a clean machine there. Wish that sucker would had been around and I had the wisdom when I bought my MSA S10 semi-classic... for $1300!!!
would had saved me a whole lot headaches, and I'd have the C6 to fool with too.
I like how the bell cranks are all adjusted nice and neat perpendicular to the neck. The changers look clean as a whistle. Superstain pickups... Hot Damn. Wish I could afford it.
trade you for a modified semi-classic...lol
that's a nice lookin geeeetar. Perfect starter guitar. _________________ MSA Semi-Classic

Michael, I'm really tempted to just hold on to this guitar, and keep it, it is little heavy, but it looks and sounds awesome...I have to be out of my apartment by the end of the next month, and trying to simplify my moving process... _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |

the weight of that guitar is a sign of quality. It's like speaker amplifiers and speakers. The good ones weigh a ton. The cheap ones feel like toys... It's a trade off. You can't have quality, cheap and (light)... you get to choose two. not all three.
Before I bought a guitar and played I remember picking up a bar of my friends and thinking... "shit, that's a hunk of metal"...lol _________________ MSA Semi-Classic

Uber-clean guitar, and that undercarriage screams "Bud Carter was here!"
Great price on a model that is seriously under-appreciated, IMHO. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Bud lives out in the country in Northeast Texas, by Cedar Creek Lake. He was partners with Larry Agan in building the ETS guitar, until Larry's untimely and tragic death last year put the brand on hold.
I expect to see him this coming March at the TSGA Jamboree, of course. I hope he's well and happy.

thats not off topic, I was kind of wondering the same thing, thanks for the info Herb, I'm glad to hear Bud is doing well, this guitar does screams Carter when you look at it LOL...guitar looks nice underneath because it was serviced by Jim Palenscar, and Jim also installed 2 brand new knee levers, it really does play like a butter, and sounds awesome...
