Does anyone know what kind of program Jeff may have used to write out his tabs? They were perfect, easy to see and understand.
I have tried Tabedit,,but it fights me all the way.

I think Jeff wrote them out by hand. He started way back before we even used computers for that kind of stuff.

I have quite a bit of Newman's stuff. His overall packages are good, but his tab is about as basic as it gets. Not all of his tab was by hand, 12 gospel collection, for example. IMO, the disadvantage of hand written tab is that it sometimes takes 8 or 9 pages to tab out a 3 minite song song. Tabledit is the best deal for writing tab and Alex has got it down.
