Hey Bro. Clyde (Mattocks)!
Happy New Year! Always good to hear from you. Thanks so much for your kindness. Yes, I`m glad to know that my joy comes through in the music, because if I`m happy, then maybe others who hear the music will be uplifted, and happy too, bcause that is what I`m all about. Thanks again, stay in touch. The best to your family...

Hey Charles!!! (Pompe)
Good to hear from you. It is good to know that you caught on to what I always try to do, and that is to play with enough happiness, to spread the joy in my heart to others who listen in to the music. I have`nt reached my goal yet, but I keep trying .
Warmest of greetings to your family,,,

Hello C.E.(Jackson)
Happy times, and a Happy New Year to you, and yours.
Well, what can I say but thanks so much, for your kindness. I guess I dont do too bad for a 70 year old double above knee amputee. I used to play the chord pattern that most of the pedal steel players play. But, do to the unfortunate accident that took place in 1995. (I was struck down by a drunk driver, while having to change a tire on the expressway) which left me without the use of any part of my legs, from just above the knees down,(amputated)I had to re-adjust my style of playing. Now don`t worry, I know you didnt know that. I just thought I would let you in on that. And I`m not offended, I recognize what you were saying, and that it was a compliment(smile). So all is well! Again, I appreciate your encouragement. Be blessed! Stay in touch!

Another Excellent Job Ron. Perhaps, unlike C.E., I Was aware of your Terrible Accident, and I for one, am So Proud of you for being able to make the Necessary Style Changes, and go on with your playing. Each time I hear you play, I stand Amazed at your Talent, and the Expression in your playing. And, I agree with Clyde, that each is a True Joy to hear..Looking forward to the Next One. Thanks for Sharing!

Hey George!!! (Brown)
Glad to hear from you, and surely a Happy Belated New Year to you, and your loved ones. Thank you for keeping in touch. Yes, I knew that brother Jackson, perhaps had not read, or heard of my physical challeges, and possibly a number of others in whom had not been aware as to why I play the way that I do. So I thought it was the thing to do in the most kind and diplomatic way( Wow, such big words) I wanted (to all who inquire,)to let them know, in spite of my condition, I still have my joy!
So my dear friend thank you ever so much for your friendship, and encouragement, and give the "Corgi" a pat for me, and the warmest of greetings, for this year as it unfolds before us. With sincerity...

Belated Happy New Year Bishop Ronnie,
What a way to start a new year by hearing that beautiful steel sound you produce.
Music just like that just seems to stream from you like a river.
God's gift to you I know.
God Bless.

Hi Roy! (Heap)
And a Happy New years to you, and yours.
Also, Thank You, for all of the encouragement shown by you, and The British Steelers Society,( I hope I got that right?)(smile) Thank you, for the write ups, on the website, It is very thoughtful. I wish I could explain how that all of my musical melodies come to me, but somehow, it is in me. I guess that it is a God given gift, of which I am very thankful. Anyway, I`m glad that somehow, it seems to be appreciated. May God also continue to smile upon you, and yours, and all that you do as this year unfolds.
Stay in touch, as I most certainly will. Be Blessed!
