Hi all. I am learning to play lap steel and pedal steel. I have a Nashville 400 left to me by my father set up in my living room, but there are times I want to practice in another room or play with a small group of friends. The 400 is a great amp, but is heavy to move around and a bit more than I need for what I'm doing sometimes. I looked at a couple of cheapie no name amps but have about settled on a Fender Champion 40 with a 12" speaker. I know I can't expect this to rival the Nashville 400, but would it be a decent choice for the above uses? Thanks.
