Canadian steel player, Brian Ostrom spends a couple of months in the Sarasota area. Not sure how to contact him.
Brian comes to the Manasota Steel Club in Bradenton. They hold their jams the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

There are lots of jams down there in Florida. All over the place. You won't have any trouble finding one.
I am stopping in Florida for a stay this winter. I am hoping to catch the Steel guitar club jam sometime at catfish Johnnys or maybe Bradenton

years ago, when I played with the road band, and we had a gig in Bradenton or Sarasota, i never looked for jam's, I spent my time on the beach drinking margaritas...

I bought a boat up there from the Guimond boys years ago. I am located near Calais ME
Maybe we will meet sometime in Florida or maybe up here in the frozen north...Who knows.
