Here's A Rare Video Recording From 1962, Believed To Have Been Filmed In Nashville For TV.
Willie Sings 'Hello Walls', 'Funny How Time Slips Away', 'Night Life', & 'Crazy'.

Too Bad Buddy Emmons or Jimmy Day Weren't Included on This Video.

Thanks Roger, that was fun. Sounds like Willie but doesn't look like the Willie I started listening to in the late 70"s. A national treasure. Should be a Willie Nelson Museum if there's not one.

You are welcome Dennis.

Seeing as how I'm 70 years of age, this was the Willie I used to know, until he disappeared behind the beard & long hair. He still sounds the same. Smile

His beat up guitar looks pretty bad, but still sounds very good also.

I agree on a Willie Nelson museum.

I think his bus would qualify.

IMO, Willie never looked or sounded better. As for the synopsis of his songs, well, ya gotta love this…

That was a young Willie. He was my favorite then and Nashville was telling him how to sing because he was so far ahead of them they couldn't understand.
Willie is a Musician's musician.
