A young rocker has asked me to contribute to a track on his new record. he's covering the old pop hit "Moonlight Swim," and he wants some lap steel on it. I've checked out recorded versions of the song by Elvis and by Anthony Perkins today, and I feel somewhat comfortable with this tune, but I want to be more comfortable. Does anyone have a lead sheet with single note melody and chords that he could share with me? Having such a sheet would be a huge help. Also, does anyone have any performance tips for me? I'm definitely a steel newby, and I don't want to waste this guy's time, especially since he has faith in me that I'll do a good job.

Thanks in Advance
Tony L.

P.S. I'll be doing the tune on an 8-string in A6 tuning.
