I bought this from Dave O'Brien a few years back. It has served me well as a practice guitar. I currently need to go down to one steel and have decided to sell this one. Asking $1400.00 plus shipping. The original pickup has been replaced with a George L E-66. MORE PICTURES BELOW.

Would it be too much trouble to post under side pics and closeups?

Now that's a "steel"! Not many around in that sunburst, maybe that's the one Reece was playing in Honeysuckle Rose!?

Jerry- Would you mind telling me the serial #? That's looks like a guitar I had built and purchased in 1981 and played for approximately 12 years. Thanks RP

Folks - do not confuse this with older S-12's posing as universals with double raise changers and gizmos underneath. This is the real deal with the XL changer!! Underpriced IMHO Very Happy and Jerry is a great guy.

Jerry, is that the original finish? Can you post some detailed pics of the changer (end shot) and the under carriage? It's hard to tell details from the distance of your shots.

Unbelievable this is still on the market, way too cheap. Anybody looking for a Universal is missing a good one here. Jerry paint it black and mark it up 30%, it will go fast. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Someone's getting a NICE guitar. Only two reasons I didn't jump on it: I'm saving for a NEW SD12 uni, and (including the one I'm saving for) I just can't see me having FIVE pedal steels. 3 and one on the way is enough.
But that is one gorgeous axe.
