Thanks, Andy. Very helpful. Are you using C6 on an acoustic lap steel are you dipping back into playing electric these days? I ask because I'm toying with the idea of tuning my Bear Creek Kona in C6. If seems like such a useful tuning. |

I'm back into electric after a long hiatus on only acoustic, Liz.
I will occasionally tune down to A6th or G6th on acoustic (same intervals as C6th) but I prefer those sounds on electric instruments. C6th is one of the most powerful tunings because you have very close intervals for melody + access to major, minor, dim, aug, mai7, min7and more chords. _________________ Steel Guitar Books!
