I recently bought a stroboflip off of the forum and I was tuning with it yesterday and noticed that it will get progressively darker until the readout is non existent!
That happened while using batteries, I then plugged in the power adapter and it did the same thing, only with the Lights lit up on the tuner.
Is this faulty? Or is there something that I am missing?

From your description it sounds like you bought a defective unit.
I would be contacting the seller. |

First I would contact the seller.
EDIT: Added to say, when my batteries are dying, the display doesn't get dimmer, it just doesn't stop the "strobe" display on the note I am tuning. That's when I change batteries. I have never used the power supply that came with it. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Huh, that's interesting Richard...when My strobo flips batteries go dead the strobe gets progressively dimmer...however I do agree it sounds like a faulty unit if it did the same thing with the AC adapter. _________________ '83 Mullen custom D-10 8x5.

Mine gets to where it doesn't stop as cleanly as it does with fresh batteries. Sometimes it will even tell me that a different note than what I am actually picking. When this stuff starts happening, I just automatically change the batteries. I guess I never let them get down to where they would cause the display to dim. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Did you replace the batteries? The power supply output plug has to disconnect the batteries when using the wall wart. If the plug does not disconnect the batteries you will still be hooked to your old batteries. Remove your batteries and try the power supply to see if it is working. Hope this helps. That's a bummer. |

Just sounds like dead batteries to me ...try some new ones and see if the issue persists. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9
