I've only just discovered this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XepskyrEvAw&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I didn't actually know she could sing, but knew she borrows my acoustic a lot.

I am sure you can help her with a comment or two,,,

Good for her David...A little less guitar and a little more voice is all I'd change, at least at this point...would have been nice to hear more of her singing...easy to tell you're a proud Dad!!..Good for you too!!

I might have to do a track, and get her in the studio...
It's a real surprise to be woken up by the ex-wife at 11:30pm with a phone call asking if it is really our daughter singing this...

She's really good and has a nice manner about her, David. Awesome talent there with a good bit of charisma.

OMG.. As they say...

I was swearing at the ex-wife, (emmylou's mother of course), for waking me up.. Now I am up, and thinking, let's spend some time with Emmylou, and record something... She lives with me, and we both do our own things, not really knowing each other..

I won't sleep tonight thinking....????

But in the meantime, I will secretly record that backing track, and see if I can coach her into the studio...

Dave My Friend! Very Happy Surprised
It is said: the fruit does not fall far from the tree. Another: Like father, like daughter. It is very evident that the talent is in the blood. Please continue to encourage Emmy Lou, the girl has got it!!! Dont let it fade away. Give her whatever she may need to bring it to maturity. She has a fan in me, as well as others who will soon hear her talent. We will be expecting great things for her as she progresses into her future.
Ron

Wow, David, I am so surprised! What a good voice your daughter has. Can't wait to see and hear her on a track with your steel. Who knows what's next? Maybe the both of you live in Norway soon??
