After weeks of frustration, I finally got my RKL to lower my G#, correctly. I want to say thank for all of the tips and help I received, from folks on the forum.

So, after trying springs and a ton of things, it seems that(for reasons I can't explain) I was able to fix it by letting a little more of the pull rod out the changer end. Doesn't make sense, as the nylon tuner was always clear of the "collar" and the string/changer assembly wasn't engaged, when the lever wasn't in use.

The best I can figure is that while the springs and strings are the primary parts of the "tension equation" there is somehow another smaller variable on the rod. I really can't explain it. Just figured I should post this, in case any other MSA Classic players face this problem and could be helped by it.

Anyway, I'm glad to have my recording steel back singin'! Long live the MSA Classic!
