Is there any interest in the following?

1. Select a song or set of songs from someone's commercially available disk. Example would be one of Newman's Honky Tonk Heroes disk.

2. Focus on a song at a time and each person tab some of the song to share what could be done and to give and get new ideas. Discuss how to treat the song and hear from each other what works and what doesn't.

3. Do this by creating a string in the tabulature section and via group e mail.

This may be way too organized, but as a fairly new, non-professional player that enjoys using the play along disks, it seems a natural extension of the internet and the technology to do a "group lesson" or "group workshop" once in a while.
