I have a Wheeler Ped-All 14 string pedal steel guitar and I am looking for someone who knows how to play this instrument.

I can tell you what the pedals do right now if that will help. There are four on the floor and four knee pedals.

I know Wheeler intended it to have a universal tuning so it could go from E9 to A6 with the pressing of a pedal.

Any help would be appreciated. In the meantime if someone has a simple student model tucked away in the closet they would like to sell, let me know.

Yours truly,

James Michael Taylor

James, If the steel I think you're talking about was made by Lee Wheeler, I only live about 15 miles from him. I don't know a lot about the man or his instruments, but I've talked to him a few times and he is very knowledgable about steel, mechanics, physics, etc. I haven't talked to him in about a year, and he had been in a bad car accident, but if you want to e-mail me I'll give you his last known phone number. I will warn you though that he is a tad (understatement) eccentric.
Glad to be of help if I can.
Dave
