Lap steel tab for 10-string C6

Do any of you us lap steel tab (successfully) for your 10 string C6 neck? I never paid attention to lap steel tab until yesterday when I happened to looked at one by Greg Cutshaw and realized, duh, that the lap steel copedent is the same as strings 7-2 on the a 10 string. I wouldn't think this takes the place of 10 string tab, but might offer some new options.
