Does anybody know anything about the Williams D-10
keyless, Series 400. The Tuning issues, Reliability, anyone own one? Possible when they built that series. I'd appreciate any information. I owned and played one for 22 years. never had any major problems with the guitar. I now own and play a 700 series keyless, lacquer, metal neck. Love the guitar.
My 400 had center pull pedals (rod connected to the top of the pedal). The only problem (and a minor one at that)..
The pedal connectors would wear out and have to be replaced (once in 15 years).
Great sounding, very reliable guitar for me. Tuning is very stable. If you are considering buying, I would jump on it before it gets away. These guitars were made in the 80's |

They were made much later than the 80's. I have a 2003 400 series. Mine is a keyed guitar. _________________ Clyde Lane |

I believe that 90 % of the Presley show on RFD TV is the same guitar that Kevin is using (but Keyed) I had a U12 400 series Keyless that I bought in 2001 and had it to early this year and never had a problem with it. Great Guitar. |
