I would like to buy one or two Sho-Bud pickups or True Tones wound to Jerry's specs for the Sho-Bud sound. If it has coil taps, all the better. For D-10.

Thanks!

Doug

Doug, there's a guy with a Bud pickup on the Amps and Accessories with one that needs repair...
That way you could send it to Jerry for winding with a tap.

Lane,

I traded PM's with the gentleman selling the Sho-Bud P/U, and noticed only one wire. He then realized a lead was broken off. I suggested Jerry Wallace also.

I have emailed Jerry twice in the past several weeks and not gotten a reply, so getting something repaired by him for me might not work, hence my ad. I will try calling him, but that ain't easy - 8am his time is midnight here. Also, my internet is way to dicey to skype, so I am calling international on my cellphone. that's not as crazy as it once was, but its not exactly cheap either. I wish he would respond the emails.

Bob - PM sent.

Thanks - and anyone else out there? I gather 17,500 is the recommended winding for a Sho-Bud, at least for E9. How about C6 - same winding? And coil tap at 11,500. I'd like to get something with a coil tap - something else to play with, and at least if I can't sound good, I can sound different!

Matthew - sorry, I got a hold of Jerry Wallace via phone last night and ordered a pair of True Tones, so this thread can be closed.
