Yes it is parts from GFI to add the compensators, so everything on the guitar is factory. |

This was My First GFI Guitar i recieved in Sept of 2004. It has a differant setup on it now, but was a great guitar with awsome tone... I toured with this guitar for about a year , using it with Holly Dunn and a few other opry artist. I always liked the the black on black look... the last gig i did with it was the Rymen Aud. during a grand ole opry show we had done there.. who ever gets this guitar, as with ANY GFI guitars will not go wrong... And i think it's spelled SIGLER

I owned this guitar for more than a year and traded it to Dennis, so I can offer some information concerning its history. I purchased it locally for a project that is now finished and I needed a dobro, so I traded with Dennis.
I did the changes in question.
1. The parts that are circled in yellow is an additional feel stop for the RKR. I keep going past the factory feel stop, so I added this one. It can be removed in 30 seconds by removing the two set screws on the bell cranks and removing both bell cranks. The are no screw holes or modifications to the guitar.
2. There is a locked cross shaft installed (to the right of the feel stop) that is the anchor for a number of return compensators for some lowers. (both for E9 and C6). All parts are GFI factory parts. I believe there are three on each neck.
3. There are additional pull rods, one on A pedal and one on B pedal that operate F# lower pitch compensators on strings 1 and 7. They were set to lower 12 cents and then adjusted for "no beats" when the pedals are down. Again using GFI pull rod kits.
4. There is a string six lower rod kit installed on LKR.
5. There are a number of nylon washers installed on the bell crank inserts. They are removable if you don't like them. I did.
I will be happy to answer any questions from possible buyers. There were no known problems with the instrument when I traded it to Dennis.
