Jack,
Do they still have a band in the lounge at the bowling alley. If memory serves me correctly it was called the "The 300 Club" (or 700 Club). See what I mean about my memory. Anyway, that's where I met and heard Wayne Newton (the pedal steel player) play. There was also a club called The Black Stallion and one called The Rig. I'm talkin' mid-eighties.

That is where I met Wayne also when I just started on psteel way back when. The 300 club went rock several years ago and I understand they have gone back country again. But only maybe on weekends, really not for sure. It is a smoke den so I never go out there. The old Rig club is still going and still use live music. Wayne was a fine player.

Mark, Like to meet you or shoot the breeze. Kinda hard to get me some times as am in or out between here and the farm. Gimme a jingle anytime. Happy Thanksgiving to you and Tommy and all other steelers. Jack

It's about 45 min to an hour away, but I'm playing in Edmond at the Bricktown Brewery on the 30th, The Dugout in OKC on the 29th, and the Red Dirt Brewhouse in Ardmore (an extra 90 min) on the 27th.
