Near mint, Delta-Blues model built by Desert Rose (Chuck Back). It has very few playing hours on it and features two pick-ups with a switch to choose one or both pick-ups together. The changer is a triple raise/double lower. D2F protective cover included.
Cosmetically, this is one beautiful steel guitar with an all wood lacquer “tobacco-burst” effect throughout. It has five pedals and five knee levers. It’s set up with a custom (6th) tuning combined w/”standard”country capable pedals on pedals A & B.
You will notice in the photos an unusual fitting mounted on the far right of the pad. This is a threaded table mount to hold a mike boom or gooseneck which in turn holds a microphone. This was placed where it is, out of the way, yet holds securely a mike in case you want to sing, double on a harmonica, or whatever.

Asking $2,400.00 plus shipping to the lower 48 states. Sorry, no trades

The two pickups are of interest to me, is it like a tele combo kind of thing as in the bridge is more trebly bite and the neck a bit rounder?
And, what is the tuning that's on the steel right now, the 6th tuning that you mention is also of interest. While we're at it, what are the pedal assignments. I've looked at these steels on the Desert Rose web site but this, as far as I can remember is the first to appear on the sale section of the Forum.

What's with the cross shaft at an angle for the Right Outer Knee Lever?

Al,

It looks like that cross bar popped out of the hole and hasn't been popped back in yet.

Gordon,
That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure.as there is not a clear view of the inside of the back apron to see the holes for the cross shafts. Still a nice looking guitar.

Al
