You guys can laugh, but I loved it.. The guy made great use of his somewhat modest ability, he was in tune and accurate, and I loved the sound he got from his obviously home built axe.. I was impressed...

the fellow's name is François Bonin
he joined the French steel guit'fo' not too long ago
he's a retired "engineer " & he built 2 complete psgs from scratch
i agree w: you Bob, considering his journey & lack of contact w: the world of steel, he does sound alright & in tune

I agree with Bob. Who knows if he built that steel but it sure was interesting to look at that guitar. That man's playing was lively and accurate. His use of the size 12 high arch left foot shows that he's been at this for awhile. I'd love some close ups of the instrument.
