My friend Bill Lane, has made at least 3 different steel guitars. These are all made by hand, no machining was used as you might find in your standard production guitars.

The only thing he didn't make were the two end plates, the tuning keys, and the fret board.

He would like to sell this guitar for $1,000.00 plus shipping, and you can call him for any further questions that you might have. His number is 651-489-8348.

Here are some photos of his handiwork.

It has two George'ls as pickups: for E-9th E-66, and for the C-6 PF-1

Give this a good look, and let Bill know if you are interested, or may know someone looking for a good inexpensive guitar. Body is made of hard rock maple.

Thanks, Dennis

Daniel, the pictures don't show them, but I believe that it has 4 knee levers. I only posted one side of the undercarriage, the other side was too blurry to display.

If you have any further questions, Bill will happy to answer them for you.

Thanks for the interest.

Hi Daniel, yes it is, as far as I know. I have not heard from Bill if he has sold it or not. I did get an email asking if Bill would sell for a lower price, and I replied that he should call Bill direct and make the offer.

If I hear anything I will report back.

Thanks for the interest.

Just to let everyone know, this guitar is still for sale, and Bill is willing to consider $800.00 plus shipping for this instrument.

If you are interested, call Bill at the number listed above and he will be more than willing to tell you all about it.

Thanks for your interest.
