This is the perfect couch guitar and the one I fall into for hours. The sound balances perfectly with a bakelite tone bar and bare fingers, although it steps up to a steel bar and fingerpicks too. The tasmanian blackwood is stunning, even after the 100th viewing, and it's the most comfortable lap steel guitar I've played. The pictures show both the beautiful wood and two minor flaws: Finish scuffs from a soundhole pick-up a previous owner installed, and a finish anomaly at the neck joint. The guitar is solidly built and beautifully finished, with buttery, accurate tuners.
It comes without a case, but fits into most classical guitar-sized gigbags.
It's priced to sell at $1025.00 plus shipping.
