I am happy to say that I am another Melbert Steels owner! I received my 6 string Melbert Lap Steel about a week ago. I am one happy man! Anyone looking for a great lap steel at a great price should check them out. Bob Allen is so easy to work with and he offers 6 string, 8 string, and console models. Check them out at http://www.musonmt.com/ Mine is made from walnut and has a Bill Lawrence 705 pickup. It really can fill a room with a super fat sound! This will compliment my dobro.

Gorgeous! Let me say for the umpteenth time that Bob makes great lap steels. I never get tired of mine. _________________ If Music Be the Food of Love, Play On. -Shakespeare
