Milo, you've really done it this time! Most entertaining, skillfully executed and creatively thought out. Can't wait for the next one.

Has anyone approached you about having your own reality show?

Milo, my friend Harry Johansen in Norway and I have discussed online your steel playing on Youtube. In particular, we are rather confused about your tuning. At times it seems you are playing C6 on the front neck, like Raising the Dickens. Then, in Orange Blossom Special, it sounds like some typical E9 hammer-ons with the pedal at the end. Can you enlighten us on your tuning and pedal setup? Great playing, and I hope you keep the videos coming! Very entertaining stuff!

Doug

Thanks folks for checking out the video. I'm actually using it to help promote a new website I'm working on, but isn't quite ready.

Doug, in regard to your question about tuning, I am playing a standard E9 on all my videos. There are plenty of options for getting a C6 or swing sound on the front neck and that's where I'm most comfortable. I started out playing a single 10 Sho-Bud and spent lots of time trying to emulate some of the C6 stuff I was hearing. I miss out on the low strings of course but, heck, I'll plan on making the next 20 years my C6 years.

Thanks again for listening

Milo, that was a piece of great musicianship. What is it that you DON'T play? Looking forward to seeing your web page!

That was great! That was a nice a break from the all-too-common faceless videos. I like to see the joy in the playing.

Wow!!!...Milo, if I played 1 instrument (steel) as well as you play all the instruments you just played I'd be a "superstar" and playing in Nashville...Anyhow, that was fabulous and I hope you keep putting these on Youtube...I'll be subscribing to your channel.

Thanks, Dale

Hey Milo,

Great stuff. I remember you blowing me away 35 years ago with your steel playing at Real To Real Studios. Amazingly, you still continue to do it.

Awesome playing.
