1956 Fender Stringmaster D-8
Excellent working condition, very good cosmetic condition.
22 ½” scale length. Tweed Case in nice condition. There are several small dings and scratches on the body, as expected with a 1950s nitro finish. Overall a very clean Stringmaster. I'm selling this because I have several 8-string steels now and I'm trying to slim down my collection. Current tunings are C6 and E13
I recorded 50 songs with this guitar. I played this guitar on the CDs for my two “25 Song” books for lap steel. Of course, I only played 6 of the 8 strings for those 6-string books.
