b0b has said in a few posts that I've seen about how much he likes his Tone Tubby speakers and I was wondering if anyone else has experience with these speakers for Pedal Steel? His comments in a recent post got me interested enough to revisit their site and I was impressed with the response curves and the efficiency ratings. The new Nashville 75 watt speakers in particular look intriguing.

I am ordering a Red Alnico Tone Tubby as that seems to be the ticket for my lap steel application. I'll report when I get it in and operating.

I recently purchased a pair of JBL E120 speakers that were blown and had Tone Tubby install hemp cones. All I can say is my Twin Reverb is pushing 100lbs if absolutely amazing tone with my 66' ZB Custom. Got my vote for tone tubby. I may hemp recone my D120's next!
