To me it just looks like a BR-9 that was refinished. Can it be something special Gibson did as the seller claims?

But it's a special refinish.  It has a Seymour Duncan P90 pickup, and replaced tuners, too.

Does anyone recognize the fretboard? That may provide a clue as to what the original steel was.
