Here is my new Tone Tubby 12 Alnico in my 112 Mesa cab and my Mesa Transatlatic Mesa amp. SWEET! I just got a Tascam DP-03 8 track Recorder and I hope to post sound samples. It only took me 15 years to learn how to post a picture

Is that a closed-back cabinet? |

The cab was a closed back but found it too directional so I made a half back out of it.

The look has changed a bit, but I think the construction is the same as mine.
What are you using for reverb, Len? I like the Holy Grail with my Princeton. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Hi bOb:
I am using a Boss RV-5 on the plate setting and it sounds very nice. I have the foot switch to change channels on the Mesa and that is cool but prefer a fuzz box on hooked on the leg of my lap steel stand for easy adjustment.
The speaker is so responsive as I had a Celestion Vintage 30 that sounded very nice but the Tone Tubby makes It a different playing experience. |
