What is the price of a Lil Izzy? I can't get any clarity on this. Also, Since I'm using the older Sho Bud volume pedal with the George L cords, how will Lil Izzy affect my tone. Both of my steels are wood necks; which I love a smooth tone, but with a slight edge. Thanks so much!

Well, there's an ongoing thread here:
http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=246517&highlight=izzy
And another one started here:

Response has been quite positive. I bought one, and I'm still deciding whether or not it's for me. There's really no question but that the Li'l Izzy brings out a greater clarity and string separation. My experience (confirmed by a guitarist bandmate) is that - again, for my rig - there is a subtle shift in tone or timbre. I believe that "slight edge" you mention might be what I'm hearing.
I do want to state that the Li'l Izzy and my Fuzz Factory (and other dirt pedals) do not play well together. Craig has been great in trying to assist me in getting his device to sit properly in my chain, but he stated that perhaps because the Li'l Izzy is designed for clean, it isn't going to be the best with dirt, which I use regularly.
Go ahead, spring for one. Craig offers a money back guarantee, so you really have nothing to lose. Sounds like you might like the Li'l Izzy.

I think the forum rules prohibit (other than in the "new products" section) sellers posting the pricing of new gear. Call Craig, he's a nice guy.

Daniel, I find they play very nicely with the Boss Tone, but the Izzy wants to be first.

Craig may not want to post his prices, but I think the Forum rules do not prohibit it:

Regarding "new" items, the Forum Membership Agreement states:
Quote:
Posting of discount retail prices for new merchandise in the Classified Ads section is prohibited. Readers can be directed to call or email for a discount price instead. Prices may be posted for "used" merchandise.

This rule was created to prevent public price wars among vendors. If you bought an item at retail and never used it, you can advertise it as "like new" and post any price you want. But if you say that it's "new", you aren't allowed to post a price lower than the manufacturer's suggested retail price unless you are the sole source of the item.

Al,
Thank you for the kind words. Glad to hear you like the sound with Li'l Izzy and I really appreciate you "promoting" it to the other musicians.

Ken,
Thanks for clarifying that. I've thought about posting the cost, but who would believe Li'l Izzy could be so reasonably priced!

Sincerely,

Thank you James.
Nothing tops having a great wife! That's even more important than having great tone.
Please give her a hug for me.

I have an original Lil Izzy that doesn't work, do you want to take it in trade?

Hi John,
Long time no talk. Hope all is well up there in the mountains.

A Li'l Izzy that doesn't work? Now that's hard to imagine!

Send it to me John. Let's see if we can get to make music one more time.

Sincerely,
Craig Baker 706-485-8792
