Michael James, Forum Member announced a new tuning he came up with a few months ago and his set up was as follows: High to Low.......
F--D--B--G--E--C
I added a high G (012) on top and a high C (018) on the bottom. Allowing 2 root tones.
A nice 8 string lap steel non pedal tuning I would say. I chose a Beetles Song "Something" to demonstrate the potential of this tuning.
Thanks Michael and my best to you.

Thats really nice Roy. Did you know that Frank Sinatra once said "something" was the greatest love song ever written? _________________ Just 'cause I look stupid, don't mean I'm not. |

Frank said it was his favorite Lennon-McCartney song. |

Thank you for listening.
I do recall reading where Frank said "Something" like that and George wrote it which was a surprise to me as I gave it to Lennon originally. _________________ Custom Tabs Various Tunings
