In great condition especially for being 30 years old. Parts of it look never played still. Comes with the original hard case. The jack is mounted up top on the pickguard - this isn't modified, that is how they made this special run of strats that year, so one volume and one tone knob. The pictures are the guitar itself not stock photos.

Ive been trying to sell this locally in Nashville for a few weeks and everyone offers trades for stuff i'm not really looking for. Thought I'd throw it up here. Link to the CL add below with pics.

Mickey, he is a new member with only two posts. I tried his phone number on his Craigslist ad as well and left a message. Totally unresponsive so far. He has the gutiar listed for $850.00 on Craigslist. The book value is nearly twice that. Looks too good to be true? Very Happy

Check the book value again. That's a two knob Strat. These are often confused with Dan Smith Strats, which were the first '57 reissue. I have the exact same guitar and I love it. It has a 12" radius. It's definitely not the model that books for twice what he's asking. It's worth the asking price, though.

Ive emailed with Ken about a trade, but Mickey I would really like cash. I told Ken I have a guy here in town who is trying to come up with the money but I haven't heard from him in a few days so I'm thinking he wasn't able to or just isnt interested anymore.

Yeah I saw the ad...These were great guitars, and correct...the asking price is fair...These guitars in the mid 80s were mass produced, but Fender finally started paying a little more attention to the neck shape. Most were Alder, light and responsive....They sold new for about 450.00...
