Was there ever a Bill Lawrence 12-string sized 705 pickup?

I don't think so.
When I ordered my first Franklin guitar in 1981, Bill Lawrence was making quite a few 705s for 10 string steels. Paul F tried to get a 12 string pickup from Bill, but couldn't. Instead, we got two 6 string 705 pickups, which worked fine. It would have been even better if they hadn't been wired together, and mounted in epoxy with the high strings' pickup mounted closer to the bridge (too thin sounding). Two independently mounted and independently wired 6 string pickups would let you balance the tone and volume, especially if you use 6 plain strings and 6 wound strings.
I think Bill L made lots of 6 string 705s back then so maybe you could find a couple of them.
