Pictures attached show two lap steels that I recently made. The red 6 string has what was identified as a late 40's Gibson pickup and bracket in it. It sounds very nice and I have it in a hard shell case made by GFI. It can be bought with the case for $399 or without the case for $300. Attached is a picture of a guitar we gave to a service man a few years ago. I enclosed it so you can see the type of case that GFI made for us. Both prices are less shipping.
The second is a Jerico Steel guitar that I finished about 3 weeks ago. It too is a 6 string but has a pickup in it that I built and a little longer scale fret board. I do not have a case for this one, although I could build one for about $125. It can be bought for $350 plus shipping. Shipping is from Ft. Smith, AR. I have 25 non pedal steels. A Mix of 6, 8 and 10 strings. A couple are single 8's on legs, one double 8 on legs and one triple with 10, 8 and 6 string neck in one body. Let me know if you have an interest and or would like pictures and prices. I will always remember and support the forum.
