Hi folks,
I have decided to sell my built-to-order 2008 Emmons LD10L II. I am the original and only owner. Both necks are setup with the "Emmons Copedent" (details will follow). Oak Mica finish. The guitar was rarely taken to gigs - maybe a handful of times. It mostly stayed in the bedroom or in the case and is therefore in excellent condition. I live in a small city apartment and we now have a baby. There's just no room for the guitar anymore.
Info:
- From a non-smoking, no-pet household
- Mechanical and electrical parts are in excellent condition with no problems.
- Genuine Emmons by Lashley, Inc. Left the factory in 2008
- Original and only owner
- Oak Mica finish
- Emmons E9/C6 Copedent (details coming soon)
- No modifications were made - original factory settings
- Plays great and stays in tune. Levers and pedals are in excellent condition
- Body and chrome are in great shape - some very minor scratches on the legs, but the body, nut, bridge, etc are in excellent condition - no blemishes, no chips.
I am asking 2,700 Euro (approx. $3,600). I am located in Berlin, Germany. It would be ideal if the buyer came to pick it up, but I could ship it. I might be willing to share the shipping costs if they are reasonable.
This guitar is ready to play - no need to fix or tweak anything!
Regards,
Jonathan Colby

Hi Jonathan its always worth putting it on http://www.thebritishsteeliessociety.co.uk.A lot of Europeans do be hunting for one for sale, as SOME (not all) people from the US are reluctant to ship Internationally for some strange reason.Good luck with the sale anyway.Id love to purchase an Emmons but funds are scarce at the moment.Maybe one Day |

Hi Declan -
Thank for the tip. I haven't heard of that organization. I'll get my ad and pictures up there too.
Best regards,
Jon

It might help to post how much 2700 Euro is in dollars. And if you had a rough estimate of shipping and insurance, say to Nashville, Tn that would be very helpful...Bobby |

For those folks who might be interested in the dollar price, it's about $3,600.

Hi Bobby.
Thanks for your interest. To be honest, I haven't given any thought to looking up shipping and insurance to the States. Of course, at around 150 lbs. it's not gonna be cheap. I took it on the plane as bulky luggage when I moved from the US to Germany.
If you are more interested, I would be happy to do some research. I said I might help out with shipping, but I'm still looking to get a fair price for the guitar. But if you're interested, let's talk. |
