Usually delay is set for a single repeat (slapback) with a delay time of 300-350 ms. I use the following settings:

Tape head - Single
Mode - A
Time knob - about 10:30 - 11:00
Repeats knob - about 9:00
Mix knob - about 10:30 - 11:00

I have everything else turned off or all the way down. Hope this helps.

Depends on how you're using it, but don't forget that if you hold down both switches and then start twisting the delay time knob clockwise, you can add spring reverb in. I use a favorite switch with mine (albeit for guitar) where hitting that switch pulls up a nice subtle slapback + reverb setting, and then when I let go it's set up for a longer delay.

Lots you can do with that pedal. It's a truly fantastic delay.
