How to reset a used Telonics 84 pickup

I purchased a used Telonics 84 pickup and the poles had been set by a previous user and I would like to set them back to factory default so I can start from scratch and adjust the poles for my guitar using the factory instructions. How do I find the factory default setting?

I think they come just sticking up about an eight of an inch. And that sounds like a suitable starting point.
That's how my ToneAligner started, which is pretty similar
