Been a while since I've played this great show that has always been a favorite. Mr. Vanderpool has seen to it that I will again live to play this great event, I know I'll be in wonderful company, always many great players and folks at this show.
I'll most likely be taking some hard to find product, and possibly a new Jackson guitar, Bigsby Steel guitar, Super Slide, Standel amps or whatever you players wish to see/buy.
If you are going to be there, email me and let me know If I can bring you anything special.
Nov. 3-4-06. Lexington, Bluegrass Inn.

Bobbe,
You had better reschedule for Nov. 3rd & 4th, '06 at THE KENTUCKY INN on Waller Ave. if you want to see me there.

Maybe we could ask Al Vanderpool to post a little something.

Hey Bobbeeeeee....you asked if there's anything 'special' you can bring....how about bringing your 'secretary', just in case Laney doesn't show.

Good for you Bobbe. Everyone always enjoys your set.

I haven't been invited to play the Classic since '97. Guess I stunk the place up pretty bad!

Best Wishes for a good show.

First weekend in November. Fri. nite and Sat....so no, you didn't miss it. Kentucky Inn on Waller Ave. in Lexington Ky across from St. Joseph Hospital. Hotel is probably sold out, but there are other accomodations very nearby on Harrodsburg Rd. Ky 68 [I think].

Lexington show...3rd, and 4th of November..Kentucky Inn, on Waller Avenue..Just across the street from St Joseph Hospital..
It's a great show, lots of great talent...must be pretty good..I think this is the 24th year..and I have been fortunate to have been invited, and have been to all of them..I think Herbie is the only other player to have played all of them...
Come on out and join us..we'll be glad you did , and you'll be glad you did...
Peace and good health to you and yours..Sorry, I did not see the prior post..I was typing mine, and when I submitted it , there it was....

No worries, Rob.
BTW, I think everyone would agree Lexington's Kentucky Classic would not be complete without your contribution.

Jerry,
Thank you for the kind thoughts..Doing this show, and others I work,is a "labor of love"...I enjoy the picking and grinnin', and most of all, I enjoy the opportunity to see and visit with old friends, and meet and make new friends..and I also really enjoy getting to work with so many great artists, and have the good fortune to be allowed to share their stage...it's a "trip" for me..
See you in Lexington..Peace and safe travelling...

Jack, and Winston,
The show would not be complete without you guys..And I know Jack, you have been to most of them..only missing when family illness forced you to..I know the staff and crew that organize the show depend on you being there...looking forward to seeing you again, and hearing your 'magic' on your Zummie...
Winston, what can I say???? If it was not for you and your stack of electronic equipment, and gadgets, we would have big problems hearing what is going on..Thank you for being available, and willing to work your buns off , to help us guys sound good , and better...so my 'kudos' to Winston May, our show sound engineer and chief cook and bottle washer of the sound equipment for our sound...Oh yes, Winston also is a picker..pedal steel...what else ?????
And Greg...we have you marked AWOL for last year..You can't let that happen again..need for your smiling face to be there....
See you guys soon...

And how about "Roly Poly"?????
