Sacramento Western Swing Hall of Fame Weekend

The Sacramento Western Swing Society is holding it's Hall of Fame events starting this Thursday night and continuing through Sunday evening. This year's nominees will be inducted during the ceremony Sunday afternoon at 1pm

Every evening at 10pm the main stage opens for jams, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings start with a jam. And there is a jam room that is running continuously all four days. Anyone that wants to play certainly can.

There are always at least a half dozen, to as many as a dozen steel guitar players in attendance; mostly pedal but usually some laps as well. Bobby Black is a frequent player. Lots of other good steel players are also present.
