I'm a commercial guitar major at Belmont University in Nashville and this will be my first pedal steel.
Been dying to get one over the past 6 or 7 months and these were the brands recommended to me.
My price range caps at around $2500.
Preferably Zumsteel, Carter, or Emmons Legrande, but I am open to other brands as well.

It will be hard to find one of those in that price range. Find a Marlen for about $1000 less. They are great guitars, too. |

Mullen makes great guitars. I bought a narrow width SD10 after playing a Starter for a year. Its still my favorite, and I'll never sell it! Get your own new one from Colorado or a dealer. Carter and Fessenden are often for sale on the forum too. Some more good brands in that range. |

That red Fessy on the board is a screaming deal.
Easily the equal of Zum or LeGrande or Mullen. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

I have Ron Elliott's D10 Derby I will get very close to $2500 on a cash deal. It has been switched to Emmons set-up and has 9&6. it is black and in excellent condition. Bobby. 615 419 9642
P.S. If you are a student at Belmont I'm close by in Hendersonville |
