I went out to catch Ken last night at a hot little night spot about 30 minutes from here,,What a super nice guy & fantastic steeler he is. Man Ken tore the place down with his band "DoubleCross" & played some chops that boggled the mind. He is the 1st person Ive ever herd play "Devil went down to Georgia" on steel faster than ZIP!!!!!!!
Ken also played a cut off his new CD due out in Dec. Hair raising !
What a down to earth guy he is,,we chatted quite a bit & I did get some tid bits of his style just by watching his playing that SDZum  The Quarter Horse Congress was in town also ,so it was all cowboys & cowgirls doin the honky tonkin thing at its best.
If Ken is ever in your area, dont miss his band.
